Scholastic
Aptitude Test (SAT) Preparation Program
This is an SAT preparation course that exposes students to over 100
internet-based training tools and resources. Technology and computer-based
instructional tools are considered ideal methods for enhancing SAT
performance among at-risk students.
Recent studies confirm that self-paced testing and training conducted on
the internet has a positive impact on individual results for highly
structured and standardized tests such as the SAT.
As part of the Program, students will select an academic area of study,
meet with professional mentors and conduct extensive training and
preparation exercises. Student achievement is measured at both the outset
and close of the Training Program.
Next available class/location: College Park, April 1, 2006 (St. Philip
AME Church, Savannah)
Number of sessions: 3 classroom sessions, spread over 3 weeks
